Q. How can I access the LibGuide created for my topic or course?

Answer

LibGuide is short for “Library Guide”.  LibGuides are created by Librarians to serve as your virtual library assistant by placing a number of valuable library resources in one place.  Each of these resources will be specifically chosen based on their relevance to your coursework.  They can be updated by a librarian instantly, so if a new or useful resource comes to light, it will be available to you right away. Often, librarians will put resources which are specifically useful for a particular assignment on a LibGuide.  In addition to resources such as databases, articles, and links to useful web sources, a LibGuide may contain tutorials, APA citation assistance, and more.  Follow these steps to access the LibGuide for your course.

Step 1: Log on to the Curry College homepage: http://www.curry.edu/

Step 2: Click on ACADEMICS located in the top-left corner of your screen.

Step 3: Look on the left.  You should see a link to the LEVIN LIBRARY.  Click on it.

Step 4: Beneath the words “Research Resources” in yellow font, click on the link titled “LEVIN LIBRARY LIBGUIDES”.

Step 5: Choose the title of your course from the alphabetical list provided.

Step 6: You have now accessed the LibGuide.  Navigate its contents by clicking on the tabs located near the top.
